It is a fight for the position of KFCC president between veteran Sa Ra Govindu and Ba Ma Harish. This is for the first time such a fight has taken shape. The faction is easily seen in the members of KFCC.

Meeting media on Tuesday afternoon Ba Ma Harish says Sa Ra Govindu team has not done anything big to the Kannada cinema industry. Govindu is applying the Pub and Bar culture to get votes alleges Harish. To escape CCI penalty he is trying for President post so that he can remit the penal fee. This is wrong step.

Ba Ma Harish on the opponent side has promised various things in case he is elected as President. The release of excess films to be curbed, talk with Hubballi film chamber and united the two, only Kannada titles for Kannada films. Harish has support of Krishne Gowda, Jayasimha Musuri, Kempayya, GK Kutty to fight for various positions.
